Pitman arms for recirculating-ball steering boxes on pickups, SUVs and trucks, specified by sector shaft spline, length, drop and ball joint taper.
13 products
The pitman arm connects the steering gearbox sector shaft to the drag link or center link. On vehicles with an integral ball joint, wear at the joint is the usual reason for replacement; arms may also be bent by impacts.
Specifications include sector shaft spline count and taper, arm length and drop, and the joint type at the outer end. Arms differ between LHD and RHD layouts because the gearbox position changes. Lifted vehicles with solid front axles sometimes use dropped pitman arms to correct drag link angle. Order by OEM number and confirm drive side. See also steering racks and gearboxes.
Pitman Arms can be quoted on FOB, CFR, CIF, FCA or EXW terms and combined with other product groups in a single consolidated container. Send part numbers, quantities and destination port for a validated quotation.
