Auto Parts Supply to the UAE for Distributors & Re-Exporters
Supply of pickup, SUV, van and truck parts, batteries and tires from Thailand to UAE distributors, fleet suppliers and re-export traders via Jebel Ali and Khalifa Port.
Two markets in one: domestic demand and re-export trade
The United Arab Emirates is both a sizeable domestic vehicle market and one of the world's most important trading hubs for automotive parts. Dubai's parts trading districts and free zones supply buyers from Africa, other GCC states, Iraq, Central Asia and elsewhere. For a Thai supplier, UAE buyers therefore fall into two groups: distributors serving the local aftermarket and fleets, and traders who consolidate stock for re-export.
Understanding which group you belong to matters when specifying parts, because the final market determines the correct drive side, specification and documentation.
The domestic parc
The UAE drives on the right, so vehicles registered there are left-hand drive. Toyota has a strong position, with the Land Cruiser, Hilux, Fortuner, HiAce and Prado-type vehicles widely used, alongside Nissan Patrol and Navara, Mitsubishi pickups and SUVs, and a broad range of other brands. Commercial fleets serving logistics, construction, facilities management and delivery rely on pickups, vans and light and medium trucks from Isuzu, Hino and Fuso, such as the Isuzu NPR and Hino 300 series.
Gulf-specification (GCC-spec) vehicles are often equipped with larger radiators, upgraded air-conditioning and other features suited to the climate, so parts should be matched by VIN or OEM number rather than by model name alone.
Right-hand-drive supply for a left-hand-drive market
Thailand's domestic vehicles are right-hand drive. For UAE use, drive-side independent parts such as filters, brake pads, discs and shoes, bearings, belts and most engine components can be supplied by model and engine. Steering racks, headlamps, mirrors, wiper assemblies, dashboard parts and some body panels must be left-hand-drive versions. Re-export traders serving right-hand-drive markets such as East Africa can specify right-hand-drive versions for those lines instead.
Climate and demand
Summer temperatures and dust have direct effects on the aftermarket:
- Batteries: heat shortens battery life, so replacement is frequent.
- Cooling: radiators, fans, water pumps and thermostats.
- Filters: air and cabin filters in dusty conditions.
- Electrical and air-conditioning related parts, such as cooling fan motors, alternators and drive belts.
- Tires for high road temperatures.
Ports
- Jebel Ali (Dubai): the region's largest container port, adjacent to the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
- Khalifa Port (Abu Dhabi): a major container port serving Abu Dhabi and the industrial zones around it.
- Other ports include Port Rashid in Dubai and the ports of Sharjah and Khor Fakkan.
Goods can be imported into the UAE customs territory or held in a free zone for re-export; the choice affects documentation and duties, so buyers should confirm the arrangement with their clearing agent or free-zone operator.
Documentation
We provide the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin. Certain products, including tires and some batteries, may be subject to UAE or GCC conformity requirements. Buyers should confirm current requirements with their clearing agent. If goods will be re-exported, check the destination country's requirements too, as they may call for documents or certificates arranged before shipment from Thailand.
Ordering and consolidation
UAE traders frequently buy wide assortments across several vehicle makes to support re-export customers. Our mixed-container service consolidates parts, batteries and tires in 20', 40' or 40' high-cube containers. We quote FOB, CFR, CIF, EXW or FCA; CFR Jebel Ali is a common request.
Requesting a quote
Upload your list at RFQ upload or use the RFQ form. RFQs can be submitted in English. State the final market for the goods, the drive side required, and whether delivery is to a free zone.

Frequently asked questions
Can I buy right-hand-drive parts through the UAE for re-export to Africa?
Yes. Specify the destination market and drive side for each side-specific line. Documentation such as certificates of origin and any destination conformity certificates should be planned before shipment from Thailand.
Do GCC-specification vehicles need different parts?
Some do. GCC-spec vehicles may have different cooling, air-conditioning or electrical components than other versions of the same model. Provide the VIN or OEM part number so we can confirm fitment.
Can you ship to a Jebel Ali Free Zone company?
Yes, we can quote CFR or CIF Jebel Ali for free-zone consignees. Confirm the consignee details and any free-zone documentation requirements with your clearing agent before shipment.
