Why do headlamps differ between markets?

Headlamp beam patterns are designed for either right-hand or left-hand traffic. Using the wrong version dazzles oncoming drivers and may fail inspection. Markets may also require specific approval marks.

Do windshields need recalibration of driver assistance cameras?

On vehicles with cameras mounted to the windshield, manufacturers often require calibration after replacement. Glass must also have the correct brackets and optical quality in the camera area.

Are body panels supplied painted?

Panels are usually supplied e-coated or primed for local painting to match vehicle color. Some plastic parts, such as textured bumpers, are supplied in finished black.

How should windshields be shipped?

In racks or crates with edge protection and separators, loaded upright and secured to prevent movement. Glass should not be loaded loose with heavy cartons.
