About grilles
Grilles are highly visible styling parts and are often broken in front-end collisions. On many pickups and SUVs, grilles change with each facelift and trim level, so accurate identification is essential.
Specify by model generation, facelift year, trim finish (chrome, black, painted, mesh) and provisions for emblems, cameras and front radar. Some grilles include active shutters or sensor covers on newer vehicles. Aftermarket styling grilles are a separate segment and may affect sensor function. Grilles are fragile at clip points and plated surfaces scratch easily, so individual cartons with film protection are needed. See bumpers.
