Hydraulic Filters

Hydraulic filters keep contamination out of pumps, valves and cylinders on tipper bodies, cranes, tail lifts and other equipment mounted on commercial vehicles, as well as in some power steering circuits. Common formats are spin-on return filters, suction strainers inside tanks and in-line pressure filters.

Specification depends on the hydraulic system rather than the vehicle: thread size, flow rate, micron rating, bypass valve setting and collapse pressure all need to match. When the equipment manufacturer's reference is unavailable, provide photos of the housing and element with measurements. Hydraulic filters are often ordered alongside truck and bus filters for fleet operators who maintain both chassis and bodywork.
