Expansion tanks hold coolant displaced as the engine heats up and return it on cooling. Pressurized tanks are part of the sealed system and carry the pressure cap; unpressurized overflow reservoirs sit on the radiator vent line.
Plastic tanks become brittle with heat and age and crack along seams or at hose spigots. Specifications include port size and position, cap type, level sensor provision, mounting brackets and whether the tank is pressurized. Sensors and caps may or may not be included. Tanks are light but bulky and should be cartoned so spigots cannot break. See radiator caps for matching caps.
Expansion Tanks are quoted on FOB, CFR, CIF, FCA or EXW terms and can be combined with other product groups in one consolidated container. Send part numbers, quantities and the destination port for a validated quotation.
