A/C Condensers

A/C condensers reject heat from the refrigerant and sit in front of the radiator, where they take stone chips, insect buildup and corrosion. In hot climates, air-conditioning runs almost continuously, and a clogged or leaking condenser is a common cause of weak cooling.

Modern condensers use aluminum parallel-flow (multi-flow) cores, often with an integrated receiver-drier and replaceable desiccant cartridge. Specifications are core dimensions, inlet and outlet fitting type and size, receiver-drier configuration, mounting brackets and refrigerant type (R134a or R1234yf).
