About wind deflectors
Wind deflectors, also called weather shields or window visors, allow windows to be partly open in rain and reduce wind noise and heat buildup in parked vehicles. They are popular in hot, wet climates.
In-channel designs fit into the window run channel and hold without adhesive, while stick-on designs attach to the door frame with automotive tape. Materials are acrylic or polycarbonate, typically smoked. Specify by model generation, cab type and number of doors: single and extra cab vehicles use two-piece sets; double cabs, SUVs and vans use four-piece sets.
