About bonnet guards
Bonnet guards (bug shields or hood protectors) fit along the leading edge of the bonnet to deflect insects, stones and debris away from the windshield and paint. They are especially useful in rural and tropical areas where insects and gravel roads are common.
Guards are molded from acrylic or polycarbonate in smoked, clear or painted finishes, and mount using clips or brackets that attach under the bonnet edge, sometimes with adhesive tape. Specify by model generation and facelift, since bonnet shapes change. Check clearance with bull bars and bonnet-mounted washers or sensors. Guards ship in protective film in curved cartons.
