Certifications and Compliance

Buyers, tender authorities and import regulators often ask for certificates. This page explains what we publish, what documents may be available per product, and how to request them.

Pending verification: Certification details will be published once documentation is verified. Until then, no company certification is claimed.

Product-level certifications and documents

Certifications for automotive parts usually belong to the manufacturer of the part, not to the distributor. The documents available depend on the manufacturer, the product and the market it was made for. Examples of documents buyers commonly request include:

  • Manufacturer quality management system certificates
  • Product conformity certificates required in certain destination markets
  • Test reports for specific products, such as brake friction material or batteries
  • Tire markings and approval marks shown on the sidewall
  • Safety data sheets for batteries and chemical products
  • Country of origin information and certificates of origin for shipments

We confirm per item which documents the manufacturer can provide. We do not state that a product holds a certification unless the supporting document is available.

Destination market requirements

Some importing countries require product registration, conformity assessment or pre-shipment verification for automotive parts, tires or batteries. Requirements differ by country and change over time. When you submit an RFQ:

  • State any certificates or registrations your market requires
  • Include tender specifications if the order is for a public tender
  • Indicate whether a pre-shipment inspection or conformity program applies

This allows us to confirm whether suitable products and documents exist before quotation, rather than after goods are procured.

Shipment documents

Every export shipment includes standard trade documents such as the commercial invoice and packing list, plus transport documents and certificates of origin where applicable. See export process and shipping and logistics.

Requesting documents

List the documents you need in your RFQ, per product group where they differ. The quotation will indicate which documents are available for each offered item, which are not, and whether any document depends on choosing a particular manufacturer or brand.

Verifying documents

We encourage buyers to verify certificates directly with the issuing body. If a document provided to you cannot be verified, contact us so we can investigate.
